Why do i have these white lumpy sort of small flakes on my scalp?!?

Ok so I have male pattern baldness :(((

But on the top of my head (crown/vertex) the hair has thinned out a lot there due to gentics i guess and is coming out gradually :( But in this area when you touch it you can feel some small white lumpy flake kind of things! And when a hair from that region comes out there is like a small white lump thing attached to it! It's defintley not dandruff! but i'm not sure what it is? Do you think this could be causing my hair to thin a lot on top as well as come out or is this still due to male pattern stuff?

Its not itchy or anything like that! Also when you itch your head in that region and you go to the mirror there are some small white like bulby flakes some square shaped on top of my hair? Weird? haha! Any help would be appreciated thankssss!
