How old were you when you first built a computer?

I was 23 when i built my first computer .My job is an IT consultant but i picked up building computers along the way .My first build took me time ,and i will admit i made a few mistakes ,My first build was a gaming Desktop ,I actually used parts from a computer that's hard drive had gone it was only a year old ,but the owner wanted a new computer so i stripped this one down used the processor and mother board changed the Graphic's card and power supply .put a new hard drive in a new case ,changed the fans and away i went .

No one helped me build it .It was a case of watching people within my job building computers and then trying it myself .

Glad i did as i have been building Gaming rigs for the last 6 years ,in my spare time.

I was 18 when I built my first PC.

It was easy, I did it all myself and had no problems except that I put one of my RAM cards in the wrong slot.

14 years old. I built my gaming PC by myself a few weeks ago :)

10. It was confusing at first, but I tore apart a spare we had at my house to see what parts went where. I didn't build anything spectacular...used spare parts from neighbors and such. I didn't have anyone help me out.

55 yes I know I started late but they didn't have PCs for home use when I was a teen...lol.
