Help with substitution and elimination, please?
I know how to do substitution and elimination when y is solved. However, I have slope-intercept formulas and I'm not sure how to do both with them. The equations are
y= 22.291x + 3519.4
y= 96.484x + 2062.4
Could someone please point me in the right direction? Thank you!
Thanks so much!

y = 22.291 x + 3519.4
y= 96.484 x + 2062.4
so 96.484 x + 2062. 4= 22.291x + 3519.4
x[ 96.484 - 22.291 ] = 3519.4- 2062.4
74.193 x= 1457
x = 1457000/74193= 19.6379
y= 22.291 * 19.6379
y= 437.75 & x= 19.6379 ANSWER

y= 22.291x + 3519.4
y= 96.484x + 2062.4
y=y,
so 22.291x + 3519.4=96.484x + 2062.4
now get x by itself on each side.
use the x that you get, and put it back into one of the first two equations. you should get the same answer for y when plugging x into both equations
