I have an exam in 5 hours and I havent' been able to fall asleep tonight..should i study or...?

Im freaking out because I wanted to get some sleep before my 8AM final tomorrow. I also have an 8PM final. Anyway, its 3 10 AM here and I cant sleep..do i try to fall asleep again (ive already been in bed for 2 hours and feel no less tired) or do i study?? in other words, should i just go for an all nighter if i cant fall asleep??

    If you can't fall asleep then you really don't have a choice between an all-nighter or no all-nighter. Try studying for a little bit and then attempt to sleep again. Tiring the brain out might work. Focus on your breathing in bed, so you can clear your head. But all-nighters and exams don't go well at all. I just wrote two exams after all-nighters and realized my brain really couldn't function well. If all else fails, have melatonin (natural sleep hormone you can buy from health-food stores, pharmacies, and even grocery stores) for next time. It'll put you into a nice and relaxed sleep mode, and you'll actually wake up like you've slept for days (even if only an hour).

    Try and fall asleep, cant take the test if you miss the bus or if your too tired to take it in the class room. Good luck on the final, hope you do well!
