Sony Vegas HD Settings for Youtube?
My question is, what settings would get me a low file size but still let me keep HD quality videos on Youtube? HD meaning 1080p on the options.
Pretty much right now im recording with FRAPS, I take the raw FRAPS footage and throw it into Sony Vegas for editing.. After that I actually watched another video on Youtube explaining the settings for HD quality and followed the directions.. unfortunately though, my latest 3 minute video came out to be 733mb.. This cant be right can it? I mean 2 hour movies sometimes dont even take up that much space after rendering! So if someone can please give me some advice id much appreciate it to save me from a 6 HR upload time..

You'll need to make sure it's 1920x1080 for 1080p video... I would use 2,000kbps bitrate but they suggest 8,000kbps (experiment)... I would choose MP4 as your output format at 24fps. For audio I would choose 44khz 64kbps, 16bit, stereo sound unless you worried about sound quality where I would chose 128kbps.
-hope this helps!!
