Are school shootings a big deal?

Both are in the same importance. All about the future. Those 30 people are going to contribute to the future of U.S. while those 30,000 Syrians are going to contribute to the future of Syria.

Please. Nobody on here knows what they are talking about! Staged by the government? NO! Seriously killing little innocent children would not be staged by mentally stable people. It is a big deal because it has been happening too much lately. Also because little innocent children(adults too) were killed. For no reason whatsoever. If that doesn't upset you think of it this way. A little child not knowing what's going on, doesn't know what to do. No parents, and completely innocent.yes the war is tragic but isnt similar to an elementary school shooting. I'm not saying the shooting is more sad than the war. You must be a Syrian. Americans are not used to mass murders on a large scale like that of a battlefield at war. To us, it is terrible when one lunatic breaks into a school and kills an entire kindergarten, several teachers and the principal. Please excuse us as we grieve and try to pick up the pieces.
