Update:

Thanks for all the ideas :) I already have a cookbook and have looked at 50 gazillion million websites but was just wanting some personal ideas!!!

This is the easiest I ever found and it came form someone on weight watchers. Whole Roast chicken, Roast Beef, Roast Pork, Roast Lamb, or whatever your heart desires. Make 4 balls of tinfoil of equal size. Place in your crockpot. Place whatever large cut of meat you want on it, spiced the way you like it (I even cut slits and place garlic cloves into them). Roast on low 4 - 8 hrs. With a whole chicken, I wash it under cold water then sprinkle Lawry's seasoned salt all over it before I place it in the crockpot. DO NOT add water or broth to any of these, the juices from the meat will drip to the bottom of the crockpot and will keep the meat moist, but the fat and most of the BAD stuff will end up in the bottom of the crockpot, where you can just dispose of it. The meats come out sooooo juicy and tender this way, I will never fix them any other way.

My favorite is 1 chicken small enough to fit in the cooker. 2 or 3 cups unfiltered apple cider. small handful of crushed juniper berries. Sometimes one cinnamon sticfk. A pinch of salt. Throw it all in and let it run till it's done. In myn cooker it takes a couple hours on low.

I love tp make pulled pork in my crock pot. Its very easy. Take 1 llb pork loin and add 1 bottle of BBQ sause. Set on low 8 hours. One hour before, open lid and with two forks shred pork and stir to mix with BBQ sauce. Cover and sit til ready to eat. Great on a roll with cole slaw!

My husband made a 15 bean soup today in ours. Bag of 15 bean mix, water, and a ham bone. I like making split pea and ham.
