About what year did Sheetrock come into use?
I have a house with plaster walls and I am trying to to date it by determining when sheetrock came into use.

The beginning product was call plaster board. It had tar paper layered with plaster in roughly 3'x3' pcs. This came around in the late 1880s. Invented in the UK.
What we now use with the paper backed/front product came into production between 1910 and 1930s. GL

I am a plasterer and might be able to help you.
In Australia we call it plasterboard so i am assuming you are in USA and thats what they call sheetrock?
