What do people do when they don't or can't make Christmas dinner?
Honestly, I've had so many petty complaints about the Christmas dinner I made 2 years ago that I'd like to go out to eat, or maybe I'll just make macaroni and cheese.
They didn't complain 2 years ago. I am just hearing about it now, because it is my turn again to make it this year.
And the reason I say petty complaints is because they did not say the food wasn't good. It was that I didn't serve the fruit salad my mother used to make, or that I wanted to serve ham and my sister MUST have turkey. I don't need recipes. I just wanted to know if there are alternatives like restaurants that are open.

Some stores will make ur Christmas dinner for u. And u go and pick it up and just heat it up and that's that. Check into grocery stores near u

Its been two years! If you have such a thin skin that irs STILL bothering you then cook a couple of things and tell everybody to bring something, coirdinating who brings what or grow a thicker skin and get different recipes. You cannot expect to improve if you dont keep practicing and let their, as you put it "petty complaints" roll off your back.
