Pug/Boston Terrier mix Pregnancy?

I am in quite a Pickle at the moment. Back in the beginning of November my Pug/Boston Terrier went into heat. One morning while she was on the Lead in the back yard a male dog came in and well basically i found them together. Now its been 40 days since the incident and I believe her to be pregnant. The only problem is that I don't have the type of money at this time for her to be pregnant. The plan was always to breed her a few years down the road so we didn't want to get her fixed. Does anyone have any advice in this department besides going to the vet, since that is already planned.

Update:

There really is no need to be a jerk about this, it wasn't planned. And BTW Buggs are a high-bred breed as designated by the National Canine Society.

the only things i can think of is go to the vet or wait until she gives birth then give away or sell the puppies. they live off of their moms milk so you don't have to buy food, you just need somewhere to keep them.

" And BTW Buggs are a high-bred breed as designated by the National Canine Society."

High-bred, you say? Is it often invited to tea with the Queen of England?

the NCS is a SCAM registry. Just there to collect money and allow people like you to scam others into thinking they're getting a real purebred. You have a MUTT, it will always be a mutt, and its offspring will always be mutts (note that cocker-poodle crosses have been around for over 60 years and are still nowhere near getting recognition as a real breed by any LEGIT registries).

Anyway, to your problem: Since you've left it so long, your choices now are to spay her or to have the litter. Note that with the combo of breeds in your female's background, the likelihood of a C-section is much higher than with most dogs. Those start at $500 and go up to $1500 depending on circumstances, sometimes even higher if there are real complications. So if you don't have the money for a C-section, your best choice is to get her spayed. If you do go through with the pregnancy, have her X-rayed the week before she's due. The vet should be able to determine how many pups she will have, and even more important in your case, whether your female *needs* a C-section or whether she can at least try to whelp naturally.

No. "Buggs" are not a "hybrid" (not high-bred, smh) they are mutts that puppy mills and BYBs made up to scam morons out of their money.

There is no mention of "Buggs" on the NCS website and every single respected kennel club has put out statements warning against "designer dogs".

That dog should have been spayed. Both pugs and Boston terriers often require c-sections, there is nearly no change that she won't need one. Especially if the male was her size or bigger. You are looking at a SERIOUS vet bill here, you need to get her seen first thing in the morning. The only hope you have at this point is to spend the money on an emergency spay and have the pregnancy terminated. It's going to be much cheaper then the $2,000 c-section or having to sit there and watch her die bc you were too cheap to get the mutt spayed in the first place. Please, for once, do what's best for the dog.

I have an English Bulldog who additionally has wrinkles at the part of his nostril. From time to time, he will get beautiful angry and somewhat odorous in the ones wrinkles. I have had well good fortune with industrial "tear stain" blankers from Pand many otherso to preserve him blank (approximately each different day or so). When he had an open subject, the vet advised me to make use of diaper cream (desitin, balmex, and many others) after cleansing, when you consider that it is sort of a diaper inflammation. I've handiest used it a couple of occasions, nevertheless it labored good. Also, I am involved in getting a Bug (pug/boston Terrier Mix) and are not able to appear to uncover any within the Boston/Massachusetts subject. Know of any? Good good fortune. They are high-quality puppies (I listen).

Take her to the vet, and get her fixed. Now.

You should not be breeding dogs. First, you left a female, in heat, unattended. Males can smell a female in heat from a significant distance, and most males would be more than happy to make a trip to come visit her, as you just learned.

Second, your dog is mutt, and you're breeding more mutts. Considering that shelters are already over-filled with unwanted, ill-bred dogs, you should not be contributing to the problem.

Well if you want to not keep the dogs she's having now. You can give them to loving homes or if you look at it more closely. You have a head start on breeding her now. No better time than the present.

the only things i are able to believe of is go to the vet or wait around till she gives beginning then give absent or promote the puppies. they reside off of their moms milk so you do not have to buy food, you just need someplace to shield them.
