Some guy's probaby gonna rob my house..?

Question

Alright so I live in texas. A month ago while my mom and dad and my gun crazy brother and me were asleep at 4am someone rang the doorbell. It took us a while to wake up and look out the window. We saw some guys all load into a truck and drive off at some stupid speed. Some of the guys that ran off were in my dads truck bed. (my dad's an electrician and he had some expensive tools along with a generator.)  for some reason one of them rang the bell and my brother ran out with one of his handguns. They all drove off in some old truck with a wide rear end. We thought nothing of it and assumed they were stupid. Now an hour ago some guy rang the bell at 11pm. He was asking for some "RandomName". My dad said he didn't live here and asked why go to our house. He said his friend works for the same company. (My dad's company is on his truck.) He said his wife was in the hospital and it was an emergency. My dad, seeing a truck with the same brown and fat rear remembered. He said  "You didn't happen to knock the other night? We saw you on the camera along with a truck like yours." The guys just said sorry and left. Do you think he's stupid enough to rob us?

Are you sure this is not a religious cult ? I had a cult follow me once and they acted similar. Were they wearng "Hoody" sweatshirts? If they did not take anything than what they are doing is not illeagle but you may get enough information to use it against them.

You need to sleep out in the yard next to the truck with guns.  You don't have to aim at them just fire into the ground they will be scared and never come back.  If they have guns then shot to hurt or something else.

Sounds like they are casing your joint and you are helping them by disclosing things such as being on camera and ya got expensive guns in the house then they will play the waiting game watch the coming and goings of whos who and probly schedule a bogus elec. call to get daddy outta the house when everybody else is out.

I would highly recommend booby trapping your yard, big holes with spikes on the bottom, land mines, mouse-traps, vietnam style kinda shitt, build a moat, hire a bodygaurd, put up an electric fence along with barbwire, get some ***** hating dogs (sorry im not racist) but you are, how ya like them apples uhh!!! yeahh!!!! chaa!!!!
