There is no basis in science this will happen. There is no reference in any recorded information of that time that supports the end will occur then. The Mayan calendar needs to be "rebooted", that's all. Our calendar did not exist at their time so the reboot coinciding with our current calendar is only coincidental. And, of course, we want be here for Sir Isaac Newton's religious based (book of David) end of times, in the year of our lord 2060, based on the "foundation of the Holy Roman Empire"[1] who would want to miss that?
