I really wish people wouldn't adopt some belief without thinking it through because that way of thinking holds society back. The world will not end in two days, I promise.

For them, their world will end on that day. For those of us (hopefully, I will be one of them) still around on the 22nd, no, the world is not ending on Friday. The thing is, the Mayan calandar didn't account for leap years so the world should have ended in September. Plus it has already recycled a few times. So even if I were superstitious enough to believe something like that, I still wouldn't because I make sure I know my facts.
