No. Democrats need Republicans to keep them in check. Just as Republicans need Democrats for the same reason. A one-party system is called a dictatorship. Two parties keep a check on each other. It would be preferable, IMHO, to have more parties involved in the serious issues but that's just a pipe dream.

Oh, yes. It it a time of great triumph for the Democrats. The have the Senate and the White House, although they lost a lot of governorships and state legislatures and local governments.
As far as I know all of the elected offices in my county are held by Republicans. I just stay in my county so I don't have to talk to any Democrats. My town is one of the most beautiful in the USA.

Yes, it is Because they are acting stupider and stupider, They are already split in the House of Representatives, they are blowing it with the budget and now with arms control and immigration. So by the time this Congress is over, maybe they will disappear just like the Whigs
The arrest of Mormon Republican Senator Crapo from Idaho also isn't helping them any
Hope this helps

No, not a Republican. Maybe a conservative, maybe even a Tea Party Loyalist, but not a true Republican. True Republicans believe in rising above the crap and trash talk that the extremes on both sides like to fling. You see a true Republican is more interested in getting it right, rather than always arguing about something that is not achievable.
