Is your part of the world expecting a winter storm soon?
Indiana is expected to get 7 - 10 inches of snow before tomorrow evening. I really wanted a white Christmas but I didn't expect quite so much white.
Merry Christmas, my friends. Stay warm. Be safe.
4:30 p.m. Wednesday: Our blizzard is almost over, the weather experts say. Parts of Indiana got 12 inches of snow! Indianapolis got 10. We didn't lose power at all. Could have been worse.

We do have a White Christmas - sunny today - but more snow is expected.
Been hearing the news - of the snow and winds for the rest of the country.
Hope for no disasters. We have had enough of those to last for a long time.
Merry Christmas to you too and to everyone.

They say we're supposed to get 6-12" by end of tomorrow. So here it is Christmas Day, and I am getting the laundry done in case we lose power with the storm (as so often happens). My husband theorises that since I did that laundry (on Christmas day, no less) the storm will likely miss us completely...
Merry Christmas to you as well.

Merry Christmas!!!
We had about an inch on the ground here last night before it turned to rain. (NJ)
There is snow mixed with rain changing to rain forecast for tomorrow, but they're saying Saturday night we could possibly have 4-6 inches.

Jodi,
Here in East Central Illinois there could be some snow tomorrow. I was on the edge of a blizzard warning 2 days ago. It left a dusting which is mostly gone.

We had a small storm yesterday with about 2-3 inches of snow for Christmas. This is just about right for me. Now they are calling for a blizzard tonight through Thursday morning with a foot or so of snow. That's a bit much for me all at one time. Merry Christmas to you too,

We are always getting weather reports that say the big one is coming, then we get a tiny skiff, maybe an inch or so, and a wind storm. I have noticed a significant decrease in snow amounts in the past 20 years.

Well, as I'm aware (but don't quote me on this), Merry Christmas, and yes we are expecting a winter storm here in my part of Arkansas! ~ : ) Hope that answer is ok. Now my brain hurts & I need to rest!

Yes, it has been rain, rain, & more rain. In our area there has been rain, wind, flooding, thunder & lightning, starting last Fri. There was a break yesterday to dry out a little bit, but the rain was back this morning with a little fog added to the picture. State of driveway & street here is fine with the caution for walking on wet leaves & unnoticed mud & just a little puddle jumping. Nothing too treacherous for those who are alert. As usual, I remind myself to add a little caution for my age. Otherwise, I might forget I'm not 20 or 30. Hope seniors in snowy areas are doing the same.
I might envy those with a White Christmas only as long as it's viewed from inside, just as I always hope to view the rain.
Don't get me wrong. In a drought-prone area, we're always happy to get our winter rains..in theory, that is.
