Glock magazine rattles when fully loaded?

So i've had an issue recently with one of my magazines for my Glock 26. Its the only glock I own. Basically, when I put 10 rounds in it (which is its capacity), its rattles if I shake it, like the bullets are loose in there or something. Almost a clanging rattle that ive never experienced before. But it doesn't do that if I have less than 10 rounds in it.

I was at the range when I noticed it, and I wasn't sure if it was going to be a problem or not. But it jam once when I was using it. And i've probably put a couple thousand rounds through it by now and that's the first time it's ever jammed on me.

I did disassemble the magazine looking for anything obviously wrong with it and didn't find anything.

Any suggestions or anyone experience anything like this before with a Glock or any other magazine.

This is normal. Many double stack magazines rattle when fully loaded. This is due to the width of the magazine and the inexact nature by which the ammunition is stacked inside, creating pressure on the cartridge above while allowing the cartridge in between to "free float."

It's only a problem if there is a feed issue. If not, no harm, no foul.

I am shaking my fully loaded Glock 23 magazine right now and it is not rattling. I would purchase a new magazine.

mark the mag and watch it.

you may be starting to see the effects of a worn out magazine spring.

You can replace the springs Midway, Brownells and most of the online Glock vendors sell Glock magazine parts

properly, after an extremely long term the magazine spring can set (compress to the place it would not raise the shells reliably). Magazines are basic adequate to re-sprung (and use high quality alternative springs like from Wolff). purchase greater advantageous and rotate in case you experience the ought to maintain completely-loaded greater advantageous magazines. Or load down by way of some rounds. With the kind 17 you have a brilliant style of ammo besides. H
