Best laptop under $2k?

Question

1st I had a dell, which was a complete POS. I have an HP now, which is much better, but still glitchy (shuts off randomly, freezes up). Anyway, I want a reliable computer with a 13-15" high def screen, thin (<1"), relatively lightweight, at least 5 hours of battery life, and solid build quality. I use it for pretty much everything except gaming; photo/video editing, document drafting, watching videos, playing music, etc.

Obviously mac has several laptops that fit my criteria but I'm interested to know if any windows laptops would. Open to any brand except Dell

You can get PLENTY of laptops that will do the tasks you are talking about for under $2k. 
MSI has a great system, i7 processor, 16GB mem, 128gb SSD.
Leovo has been making some decent upscale laptops lately,  and you can go on line and build your own hp or Razer Blade with whatever you want on it for around that price range.

check out a sony or a toshiba and see if it has each and every thing you will choose. in my opinion there are various computers that are extra appropriate than a dell. try toshiba.com i rarely work on any toshiba for actual hardware problems most are viruses (any windows computer) caused by users
