card game similar to yugioh?

Question

so my friends and i are huge fans of yugioh, and we've been playing the game since we were little kids.

lately, it seems that yugioh has gotten kind of stagnant. i really dont like these new xyz cards, and i didnt like sychros either. hell, most of the time i dont even like fusion monsters. 

the biggest thing i love about yugioh is getting new cards and seeing how they can improve my decks. but lately, it seem nearly all of my deck are as good as there going to get without breaking down and including synchros and xyz(which to REFUSE to do.)

so im looking for a new game to get obsessed with. 

things im looking for:
1. easy to learn and simple to play.
2. not a whole lot to keep track of each turn.
3. deep strategic aspects. 
4. good artwork on the cards


things to avoid:
1. anime or tv based games(yugioh is the only anime game im going to learn. i wont even play the pokemon card game.)
2. overly complicated rules.
3. expensive games(yugioh is fairly cheap to get a lot of good cards.)
4. multiple thing you have to keep up with at all times. 



i've thought about getting into "cardfight! vangaurd" but i looked at how its played and its seem very complicated.(not that im not smart enough to figure it out, im just to lazy to care to learn all that and so are all my firends.)

also, magic the gathering is out of the question. i learned to play it and really didnt like it. 

if you have any suggestions, even if they go against the guidelines i laid out, i appreciate all contributions.

Reconsider Magic..  It's far and away the best card game ever made.  There's a reason it's been around for 20 years.

But if you are just adament about not playing MTG, another card game i got into fairly recently is called Shadow Era.  It started as a free online game but they have started printing actual cards.  There's only one set out now, but a new one is to release next year sometime.  It's very easy to learn, very easy to play, but extremely fun.  Most stores do not carry it just yet but you can order a booster box online for like $40.  If you don't want to spend the money, just download the game for online use.  You can still play against your friends or other people.

The secret word of trading success is "organized". You can't be successful without a strategy, a plan and some kind of technological support. I use a software called "autobinary signals" that is helping me a lot. There are plenty of them on the market. I recommend this one because it's very easy to use (you don't have to be an expert or have special skills to make money with it).

its a awesome new easy to learn tcg  i quit yugioh picked this up and never looked back its very fun very simple and there is no over powerd crazy cards u can buy a starter deck and enter a tornement with it and still have fun games unlike yugioh wear ur wallet is the real duelist >.< .here is the websight

also if you dont like vanguard there is kaijudo  its basicly duel masters remade  . ik the show n stuff looks more kidish  but the card art and game is exactly the same as duel masters  u can play it online aganst computer here

hmm... thats  a hard question.
What first pops to my mind is "cardfight vanguard!!!"
The rules are simple once you get used to them. Maybe you just need a bit more practice, you shouldnt give up that easily!!! 

Magic is the other big game but its expensive so if you dont like dont play
pokemon is a bit bland but it is a good game thats easy to pick up

other than that there are tons of minor games out there, all trying to make a big name for themselves.
like the bleach trading card game (sucks) and cardcaptors or whatever.

Since magic isn't your cup o' tea, try Pokemon. Pretty good strategy, easy to collect, but a bit bland when it comes to cards.

There's also world of Warcraft, but no one seems to play that. 

The only other popular game I can recommend is warhammer 40k. It's more of a board game, like risk+monopoly, but it's fun.

you should pick up chess, obviously its not a card game, but its cheap, if not free - online play, smartphone play, can prob get a board for dirt cheap.

if you are serious about trading you need to address your weakness and try to fix it. no forex guru can make you Professional trader unless you want to learn from your mistake.
