Is there a dust free cat litter?

We currently use Tidy Cat but it puts dust all over my house. We keep the litter box in the basement but the dust gets sucked into the furnace and then blown all throughout the house. It won't matter where we keep them because it'll still get into the air and sucked into the furnace.

Yes - wood stove pellets really have no dust. We've been using it more then 4 yrs now and I won't go back to normal litter.

There are many different types of litter on the market. If you try different ones you may find that your cat may like 1 brand over all the others or may not like any of them. I was using one brand with my cat and when I adopted another I discovered that the new cat was not happy so I had to switch back and now both are happy. You may find that an off brand (supermarket type) may also work better. Some clay litters have a lot of dust whereas the other types have no dust. Have fun experimenting.

The nutrients grade silica crystals or beads are the main airborne dirt and mud unfastened, despite the fact that, they could desire to no longer be used for kittens as they desire to play with clutter and might choke on them or ingest it inflicting a blockage. Clumping clay is likewise undesirable for ALL cats because it gets on their ft and fur and that they lick it and it finally ends up putting like cement of their tummy and you will think of the end results of that. Diatemaceous earth, meant for cats, no longer the backyard style, isn't airborne dirt and mud unfastened despite the fact that it rather is stable to apply and it additionally a organic therapy for intestinal worms in cats. in case you're taking it exterior and sift it earlier utilising, you are able to eliminate countless the airborne dirt and mud. i do in comparison to recycled paper products, the explanation being, if sooner or later your cat gets disillusioned appropriate to the clutter tray for some reason, it is going to locate despite paper is around and use THAT to do it rather is element on. no longer stable if it rather is something significant or if it soaks via into your fixtures. I rather have used timber pellets and those are stable and function little airborne dirt and mud yet you may desire to have a sifter tray for it to be reasonably priced as while moist it turns to mush and it rather is confusing to %. up with a scoop.
