Try to cut down on the carbohydrates (Bread, rice, noodles, etc).
It helps if you have several little meals. For example, eat a Cliff bar for breakfast then eat a fruit between breakfast and lunch. At lunch eat a small salad, and between lunch and dinner eat a few fruits.
-Drink A LOT of water because it will keep you feeling full.
-Eat a lot of vegetables. While this may seem boring, you can do a lot with veggies! You can stir fry them with a little oil, steam them, boil them, etc.
-Eat nuts and fruit when you're hungry.
-Cliff bars fill me up fast and keep me full.
-Raw celery sticks because there is almost no calories in them.

stay away from snack bars, theyre filled with sugar and carbs and even the ones high in protein are energy filled so unless your going to run a marathon soon after it sits on you as fat

Froots vegetables, whole grains, beans lentils, flax seed. I wouln't recommend fish because of ocean pollution, and meat is hard to digest. Stick to plants, and not too much dairy because it turns acidic and is hard to digest. Tofu is good. Plants have a lot of protein edpescially beans and lentils as well as fiber and vitamins, which is what the body needs.

Try eating a starch-based diet: rice, potatoes, yams, whole wheat spaghetti, with added vegetables and fruits. Avoid oil and butter. This diet is quite filling, meets all your nutritional requirements, and is heart-healthy.
