Just because it spreads like one, doesn't mean it is one. In a ponzi scheme, the money is real and people can actually get it if they manage to dupe enough suckers into the scheme. In religion, the rewards are not real and people are just paying money to the leaders.

The Abrahamic religions feed on the fears and insecurities of their followers.

And they are like any other religion.... they have rites, and beliefs, (with no evidence --- holy books aren't evidence.... you would write one by next week, plenty of people have.)

They deal in CERTAINTIES, which those who are religious, need, even if those CERTAINTIES are illogical. Makes no difference to the religious.... logic isn't important.

Ponzi scheme? Maybe, but a power trip for sure, by those who lead.

It wasn't supposed to be that at first but it sort of became one. To be honest, I'm not sure what a ponzu scheme is, I looked at the definition but I'm still confused. I still stand by what I said thought even though I only half understand what ponzi scheme means.
