What does youtube count as a 'view' ?

Eg.

Does it count as a view if -

I watch it myself?

I watch it through a player on facebook?

People watch it three times in a row?

People watch it three times over a week?

    I believe if you watch at least 30 seconds, it counts as a view. however, I would not view your own video over and over b/c you could get flagged. once a video hits 300 views, it will freeze and youtube will check if the views are legit or not.

    watch it yourself- yes

    watch it on facebook- yes

    watch it 3 times in a row- yes, but it takes a while to show the change in views

    watch it 3 times in a week- yes, it should give you 3 views
