How to have a healthy diet?

Because normally I starve myself (apart from bfast obvs) and it does work but I my friends keep forcing me to eat lunch so I want to know if there is a better way. I'm not anorexic i just don't eat lunch or dinner. I am 5.7 and my weight is 119 pounds

    Not having lunch and dinner is a wrong way of approaching weight control. Try my suggestions:

    You should eat a normal diet (as per the culture of your community). Do not go for such diets which prescribe only fruits or vegetable. But develop a system in your daily food intake patterns. If possible wake up early, avoid bed tea, if you want to eat fruits, be it the first thing in the morning in empty stomach. Eat a healthy a heavy breakfast (not heavy in fat but balanced). Avoid excessive fat, salt, red meat, alcohol, fried foods, fast food, sweets etc. Make sure you eat a small portion of low carb food every two hours till dinner. These food could be handful of peanuts, one veg sandwich (whole grain bread), a small salad etc. Drink plenty of water. Do moderate exercise everyday (at least 30 minutes preferably same time, jogging is good). Be relaxed, get rid of stress, enjoy your meals and do not skip any meal. Take Breakfast (big), lunch (medium) and Dinner (the smallest portion of the day). Have an early dinner and do not go to bed immediately. Follow this, I did this and got unbelievable good result, the best thing is you are eating normally and not at all starving. If you want to indulge yourself with rich carb or fried food once in a while, have it always after exercise or during lunch. You hopefully will see the result soon. All the best.

    A healthy diet consists of:

    Fruit

    Vegetables

    Starchy Foods

    Non dairy sources of protein

    Milk and dairy foods

    And a little food high in fat and sugar.

    But mostly spinach because that contains chlorophyllin which is the chemical that helps prevent cancers.

    ok so for lunch what you can do is take a salad with a piece of chicken. that way u did thecnacally ate something.
