True Gamers Only *SPOILERS*?

Have you ever played as a character in a game, that you just love from the start? You get to know him as the game progresses and what not. You start to feel what the character feels if a loved one dies, or a traumatic event happened. Then all of a sudden he/she is taken away from you at the ending where he/she will meet her ultimate fate, Death. Do you feel any emotion? If so, what do you feel? I know this has happened to me during the Walking Dead Game series. The way how he protected Clementine with his life, no matter what. And at the end, he dies, along with almost every important character in the series. Seeing Clementine pull the trigger, and just like that is was over. I just sat there for two hours straight, wondering if there could've been a better ending. Damn, It felt like he was my damn brother, and I'm not going to lie, I cried, as with most of the people who played the entire series.

Update:

Just a little sad is all... :'(

Guess I should've expected it considering its a zombie game, but fuuuuuuuuuuu** seriously? I just hope I wont have to kill zombie Lee in season 2. If it comes to that, Im done with damn zombie games.

Damn, I know that feeling. Especially with the Walking Dead. Lee is such a badass, and I bet Clementine is going to be one heck of a zombie killer when she gets older. My favorite video game character is Link....I'm a big Lrgend of Zelda fan, especially in the game Wind Waker.

I feel like that with a lot if the games I have played, like the most emotional I got was fir Dragon age, I was my main char and while playing her she went threw a lot of s*ït and after I played her I felt " connected " and whenever something sad or happy or confusing happened I felt as if we were one and I was in that room with her witnessing every moment with her.... then in the end I didn't get my perfect ending and she died, I was sad but she died to save the one she loved and to save all of her kingdom, but when I made the choice to sacrifice her and save everyone else I started crying as if a piece of me had been ripped out.... so yea I get like that too :') its how you know you are playing a good game...

yes i have felt a connection like that from a game called kotor. when i was playing i loved my character he was charismatic, powerful he was a caring person who would do the best he could to help others. and learning the history of revan of how great a man he was and to learn you actually where revan although i never cried i felt extreme joy and happiness however there was a sadness when my first play through i had to strike bastilla down one of my favourite companions and to learn i could save her was hard and at the end where they were rewarded for their efforts for saving the galaxy put a smile on my face.
