What do you think of Lance Berkman going to the Rangers as their DH?

At least they got something they lost everyone else

he still has a little bit left in the tank, as a DH, and hes a good guy in the clubhouse, but not enough to help them compete with the likes of LA or DET.

TB, DET, LA will dominate the AL, texas has a bright future still even losing hamilton, but bringing in berkman doesnt solve their present year problems, they just dont have enough. for 11 million too, that money could have been spent elsewhere on bullpen or saved for the future.

10-11m for a DH who can't even stay healthy is a tad bit too pricey. They needed some offense, but I think they should have just traded for Justin Upton.

Bleh, This will hinder the development of players like Mike Olt who was supposed to be DHing. I give it 25 games before his knees break like bread sticks.

Funny, I thought Berkman retired a couple of years ago.

Sad, I wanted him to finish his career with the Astros.

He's no Josh Hamilton.
