Would this be dangerous to attempt?

I want to get xbox games for free, but it is much harder than wii games, so I found this tutorial here> http://www.unlockfreedemos360.com/ I was wondering if there were any chance that this could "go wrong"

Update:

Also does this method still allow signing into xbox live? It says "download from the live marketplace", but hell it could end up different. And is there any way of getting caught on a game and be banned from xbox live?

Not dangerous at all, I've flashed many xboxes before. Make sure you just follow the steps. Beware with some of the flashes you cannot sign on live anymore.

Pay a guy on Craigslist to flash your drive. I advertise this service in my area and it's fully Live safe currently as long as your games are burned correctly. I typically charge 25$ for the mod, but that can vary from area to area.

Listen man with these "aftermarket" how to guides to hacking there is always a margin for error. I personally went on Craigslist and found a guy that did it for me and two years later it still works. I wouldn't do it myself I rather have someone else attempt it. Just be prepared to possibly throw out 100-200 for a new one.
