Rhetorical, biased question. If they have illegal cars, illegal food, illegal everything, "... do we still have to let them stay her for free?" I'm not sure of your terms. How does anyone "stay here for free?" An illegal is not authorized taxpayer-funded housing, so I don't think anyone is "staying here for free." If they're staying here, they're paying rent. ... Not sure of your question. Think about what you want to say and re-post. ... Good luck!

Because the rich want cheap Mexican labor and they own the government!
You also have people like Mujer Alta who keep saying that being here "without papers" is not a crime. Entering illegally is a violation of a federal criminal statute. So entering illegally is a crime but being here "without papers" is a Misdemeanor, which is a crime, punishable by $100 or 30 days in jail and overstaying is a civil matter.
It's like a person who kills a child and gets caught dumping the body claiming they shouldn't be charged with murder because they were illegal dumping and that's all they should be charged with now!

No, all of the undocumented who've committed crimes are arrested, tried and jailed or imprisoned for the crime - if jail/prison time is required by law. They are deported when released.
Being here "without papers" is not a crime, is not part of the US Code of federal law. It's an administrative matter because the treatment of the citizens of one country by other countries is determined by negotiation and treaty not by legislation. There were no undocumented aliens in the US until 1924 when the US established its first immigration quotas to keep Asians from immigrating and to slow the immigration of Europeans because the country's great industrial expansion was slowing to a stop and European immigrants were no longer needed in great numbers anymore. By the 1930s when the European immigrant laborers were leaving the agricultural fields for better jobs, the US began programs bringing in Mexican field workers under contract to work in agriculture.
