No he didn't Sturridge moved away from a small club. Liverpool with manchester united are the biggest clubs in Britain . If you think chelsea is bigger than Liverpool you have problems.

Liverpool aren't a Wee club in the midlands, just lately have they been poor, but, they're still better than the majority of teams in the BPL.

Historically, Liverpool is a MUCH bigger club than Chelsea. Go anywhere in Europe and ask the locals which English clubs they've heard of. I'm a Forest supporter btw, so I'm no big fan of the scousers, just stating the facts. Football in England didn't start with the Premier League duck

Most bigger clubs have decent strikers, sturridge proberly wanted to go somewhere, where he would be the best in that team in hope to play more. Proberly didn't think they played enough at Chelsea.
