what do you think of Pokemon X and Y?

I like the fox looking pokemon too. The fight scenes look awesome. The grass type looks like patrat but as always I have faith they'll look cooler as they evolve. The only thing is when ever I play a pokemon game I will try to catch all that are available on te version I have and by the other version. In other words it's frustrating there already coming out with a new generation. I'm starting to think they don't want me to catch them all?

The starters have been disappointing for the last 3 gens. At least the fire fox looks decent (although we already have two fire foxes already, running out of ideas, nintendo?)

Also, I've been waiting for AGES for them to put 3 different starter types... I know grass/fire/water is like rock/paper/scissors, but what about 3 types that don't kill each other? Like, fire/electric/poison, so to say?

Also, it's nice to see the 3D art, but the battles still look too static (like in Pokemon Stadium et al), and I'm sure the gameplay will be EXACTLY the same: you have a rival, you have to beat 8 gyms, then you have to beat the elite four.

I'm so tired of this series, they are literally just doing it for the money. I've seen fanmade games/mods which are waaay better and more interesting.

Also, why can't your pokemon follow you? That was the most amazing feature of HG/SS!!! And they removed it!!! So much for making a "bond" with your creature when you only ever see it while fighting...

i think that x and y completely ruined pokemon.

1. the graphics. the graphics aren't pokemon anymore, they ruined the feel of t.

2. the storyline. x and y has an awful storyline. first of all, your neighbors are instantly friends with you. and secondly, team flare just doesnt seem right. i mean destroying the world? that's for megaman.

3.the god damn pokemon. the pokemon are really just not right. swepa is literally a pile of garbage and sperm. and mega evolution is the the superior show called digimon, which is alot better than pokemon. at least season 1 and 2 is.

4. the wonder trade. the wonder trade is like heaven for greifers and scammers.

in my opinion, x and y really sucks.

The starters aren't disappointing, you simply aren't keeping an open mind. Like most everyone else who answered this.

Apart from the haters and Gen. 1 purists, every real fan is completely ecstatic about X & Y. It's sad to see Gen. 5 going out so quickly, but a lot of people wanted the 3D, so here it is.

personally i think they should just stop with the new Pokemon and just do a remake of the old series and make that 3d. however if they keep doing this i believe that there going to go broke. pulse the grass type Pokemon is the only one you looks like a Pokemon everyone else looks stupid i hope they look better when the evlove

it's strange because the characters are so big. also i am beginning to wonder how long they are going to go on with pokemon as they are already beating a dead horse with another dead horse. whats next, a toilet pokemon ? a shampoo pokemon ? a poop pokemon ?

batman, why are you so awesome? and the 1st gen pokemon games were best
