The Pheonix 'Lights'?

Dr Lynne Kitei is no crank, she is a Medical Doctor who worked for years as a practitioner in the U.S. But when she witnessed the 'Phoenix Lights', she was moved enough by the event to leave her job and write a book about the event and make a documentary.

My Question here is; 'what is your explanation for the Phoenix Lights? Like the 1950s U.F.O. Flap in Washington DC it seems to be an event that will not be explained.

Dr Kitei's Book about the Lights is; 'The Phoenix Lights'. The Doctor also has a Web Page about the Lights.

Having dropped flares from my fighter before, those were flares. Look at the same shot in daylight and you'll see the mountain they fell behind (as opposed to the winking out explanation).

Sounds a lot like some UFO sightings along the front range between Boulder and Denver CO, in the 70s. The Air Force, the FBI, and all the local law enforcement groups were watching, and making conflicting reports. Happened two consecutive Saturday nights!! Even the TV stations had doctored pictures of them!! There were supposedly a large number of them traveling at supersonic speed, and changing direction instantaneously. One Air Force kid, said "off the record" that the "mother ship" was over 1000 feet in diameter.

On those two nights we were consuming large quantities of Coors, by a friends pool, just south of Boulder. We were making hot air balloons of trash bags and using votive candles for heat. We launched less than six each night. They drifted south, probably over the Rocky Flats nuclear weapons facility. A lot of people sure had vivid imaginations.

Yea and some folk round that way claim to have seen Jesus in a tortilla. I saw the lights and was immediately struck by the fact that I needed to stop at the circle K for beer and cigarettes. Look kid they were nothing special. There's lights over Feenix every night. There is an airport in town you know. Oh look, Sasquatch just went down the street in a DeLorian.

Flares fired from USAF planes. No big deal.
