Why am I fainting and is it because of my knee.?
My knee is extremely painfull but I don't know why but ever since Boxing Day. Every time I excersise or do too much with my knees the become very painful (particularly in my left knee) and go purple. Then I see yellow dots feel very dizzy and occasionally loose my hearing then faint. These symptoms can last up to 10 mins before I faint. I don't faint at any other times. I eat a balanced diet drink a lot am thirteen a girl and am not diabetic or anaemic although I think my iron levels may be low. I heard that you can faint from pain

Yes, you can faint from pain, but it usually has to be very severe for this to happen. I mean extreme pain. However, there are a few susceptible people who may faint with lesser pain. Before blaming pain in your knees on your fainting turns you need to be thoroughly examined by a doctor. You also need blood tests done to see if you are anaemic and blood levels of glucose might be a good idea too. If you feel faint, immediately lie down or stick your head way right down between your knees and this will get the blood flowing quickly back to your brain. Please, for your own sake go as soon as possible to the doctor as this needs sorting out quickly. You cannot go around fainting all the time!! Also mention your knees when there. Good luck

Yes it could be the pain, it could be other things.
