What are some of the most sacred sites in the world?

Question

I'm doing a little presentation where I'm required to research on at least ten sacred sites (place or space people infuse with deep religious meaning) around the world.
If you have knowledge on any (attractive) sacred sites, please list them so I can look them up! I know everyone in my class will Google "sacred sites", so I wanted to use a more unique approach.

Another one is Thor's Oak in Germany, but that was in Norse Paganism and it was cut down by Christian Missionaries almost 1000 years ago.
