Will Obama be Impeached for his executive orders banning guns ?

Somehow you need to clear your vision and look at this logically.. The anti-christ is coming next year or even late this year and that's official..For those of you who know about the Mahdi, well enough said. So what's he going to do ? He is going to control the entire world with the help of every government; every army and military force will be under his control, regardless of who is in charge... and this whole gun issue is about control.

The USA has one of the largest, guns per population ratio....and do you imagine that the UN or whoever is backing that Mahdi, is going to want to come into America with all these guns running rampant ? No No...

For those of you who know about the huge compounds with one way doors and barbed wire, "for the dissidents", that President Bush put into place.you know.. homeland security etc...perhaps you need to ask yourself just how many such people could America actually have because those compounds are not just big but superhuge.and as much as I like President Obama.I don't believe that it is him...controlling the current situation.

Well, it's a very very very very complicated process. The congressman who threatened impeachment may be bluffing to scare the president, or he may be serious. The important thing is who supports him, in an interview he simply said "We", when asked who "We" was he joked and then blew off the question. The congressmen either has something under his sleeve or he's bluffing. If John Boehner was up for Obamas impeachment I could almost guarantee you impreachment proceedings would take place, and with a Republican congress - not only a Republican congress but a Republican congress which has been abused by the president would be more than happy to impeach him.

Should impeachment proceedings take place Obama would very likely be impeached.

But rejoice Obama supporters, for while Congress alone has the power to impeach, only Senate has the power to remove someone from office. Senate couldn't be more happy with the president so Obama would remain president for the rest of his term. Impeachment is simply the trial of should a person be put on actual trial.

This has happened to Clinton on perjury charges and once before that, I believe.

And to Mr. Guess Who : The framers of our constitution didn't give us gun rights to hunt. That is very important to remember. We have gun rights to kill people should they threaten our family. We don't have the "right to hunt deer", but the right to protect ourselves.

The constitution can and has been amended before - but the very important thing to remember is that our right to bare arms /is/ an amendment. It is part of the Bill of Rights, rights guaranteed to the states.

If you can deem the second amendment moot, then you could make a fair argument to our freedom of speech, freedom of religion, right to due process, and pretty much every other freedom we hold dear.

I'm not implying that if they implement gun control we loose all our rights, but that is important to remember.

Gun control must go through congress, as any bill does. If the president bypasses that (via executive orders) that is grounds for impeachment. The real question is - is John Boehner in support of it.

Should Obama be impeached, as I said, he would remain in office. But I imagine it would ravage his approval ratings and the chances for a Democratic 2016 president.

OK, so they all believe that somehow, sometime, the Gubbermint is going to come take all their guns. How will that work? Would the Gubbermint start in the tip of Maine, and work their way westwards? Would several hundred thousand officers be enough? How about if the Gubbermint places a couple of dozen soldiers around EVERY home in America? 150 million soldiers might be too little. So how would the Gubbermint go about the deed of 'taking' all the guns? Maybe if we had a dozen soldiers for every person, that would do it. But it would have to be a 'surprise' and done across the country. So, how do you think it will happen? Would it just be a couple of young guys in shirts and ties, go around ringing doorbells like the Seventh Day do?

So sad to see so many comments showing that people have no clue about the bill of rights or what it means and stands for, the 3rd amendment is what people don't understand, if they did the then you would understand the 1st, 3nd, 4th, and so on, the right to bare arms never had anything to do with hunting, take time to educate yourself and watch this video below. You cannot be the president of this country and throw around executive orders to pass legislation.

We have a Congress, who makes laws. Not the President.

We also have a Constitution which lays out the limitations on the govt. Refusing the Constitution is illegal and throwing executive orders around like it's nothing is also illegal.

I doubt it, considering all the unconstitutional policies he's made so far. I don't think he can get away with pulling an executive order concerning the 2nd amendment, especially since it has to get past Congress. He might be able to ban ammunition in some ways. He can't ban all guns anyway, that's impossible, not even through the UN, see Reid vs. Covert 1957. Gun bans don't work anyways, whenever there's talk of one the gun sales spike.
