why dont religious people believe in evolution?
evolution is everywhere..for example, dogs have EVOLVED from wolves over millions of years, if there hadn't have been an evolution, we would not have dogs. Rabbits living in the snow have evolved to have white fur to blend in with the snowy enviorment they live in..if they hadn't evolved, they would have fur like the regular rabbit and not blend in to the snowy enviorment and would be at much more danger of being eaten by predators. So, why don't religious people believe in this? I don't understand, evolution is so obvious, how can anyone not believe in it?

Because God obviously created the animals to fit so perfectly into their life styles. That's like coming across the word "love" in the sand and assuming the waves accidentally created it. That's just crazy.

The Pope, Catholic Church, Church of England and mainstream churches all accept the big bang and evolution!
Lord Carey the former Archbishop of Canterbury put it rather well – “Creationism is the fruit of a fundamentalist approach to scripture, ignoring scholarship and critical learning, and confusing different understandings of truth”!
Nice that christians and atheists can agree and laugh together even if it is at fundie expense!
But behind the laughter is the despair at the fundamentalists striving so hard to destroy christianity by turning it from a religion to an ideology!
Surveys suggest that 29% of American christians are so extremist in their beliefs that they fall well outside of the accepted bounds of christianity!

I do, but I am pretty sure dogs are not millions of years old, humans made dogs from breeding wolves with less violent traits (this is domestication, it changes fir colors and makes tails all weird, and makes bones longer and narrower, it happened to humans too, like cats, we self domesticated, breeding against aggression).
I am also religious. I am studying botany right now and evolution is indeed quite obvious even if the fine details are not known to me.
and oh yeah back to dogs, it does not take millions of years to domesticate, some guy in russia created domesticated arctic foxes and they are adorable, I will get one someday, their fir changed color in some cases, their tails are weird shapes sometimes, and their bones are longer and thinner. Mice too, different colors that non domestic ones do not have, it only takes a few generations, and humans, having created dogs (or wolves created themselves by living near humans), would have had to have been around millions of years ago to create them if they were that old, in fact homines sapientes were not around millions of years ago, we are new kids on the block.

Well some do, its the fundamentalist ones that dont. Buddhist believe in evolution, and Buddhism is a religion, I seen people of all faiths that know evolution is a fact.

some people are so adament that creation is what happened and evolution is a lie. these people are "brainwashed" for a lack of a better word, into believing that was exactly 100% what happened. same type of things happens everywhere.

I don't know many Christians who don't believe in evolution. You do know that Charles Darwin was a Christian, right? lol Ok, now you just sound dumb. Look it up, don't trust me.

That's a pretty generalized assumption.
Why don't educated people realize that religious people aren't all alilke?

Creationists don't because they interpret their religious creation story as a scientific approach.
