What are some good Asian films?
Break your answer into two categories:
1. Martial Arts focused films...and please, nothing with Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Sammo Hung, Tony Jaa or Donnie Yen in them. im hugely a fan of the genre, and ive already seen pretty much everything by these guys. give me something new!
2. Asian films with great environments...what i mean by this is movies that really show off or take place in a city, in a neighborhood, or some other unique place that really sucks you in to its surroundings.
For any of your answers, the films can be Honk Kong, Korean, Japanese, Thai, any type of Asian film. and for part 2, any genre is fine. drama, crime, horror, anything.

I like all the 80s Hong Kong John Woo joints with Chow Yun-fat: The Killer a better tomorrow I & II difficult Boiled also the Stephen Chow comedies: King Fu Hustle Shaolin Soccer And usually anything with Jet Li however in particular: once Upon A Time In China Fist Of Legend Fearless
