Why do some people hate multiculturalism?

Why do so many bland boring people I talk to insist that multiculturalism is a bad thing?

People tend not to like multiculturalism due to racism or fascism of some type. Though there are more rational arguments such as the fact that some of the immigrants' expenses are funded by the taxpayers. A good portion in fact. Though arguments usually stem from a nationalistic view of the world.

I don't know. America was literally founded on multiculturalism.

Before America ever came along, the very idea of Europeans from different nations living among each other and mixing with each other was almost unheard of. The only time it happened on a large scale was whenever monarchs did so to gain power.

If culture A believes in working hard, speaking truthfully and honoring your commitments. Isn't that better that Culture B which believes there entitled to wealth, like others to work for them, and believe their a victim of the system?

This is truth we must face up to. Some cultures have traits which enable them to have more success than other cultures. This is not to say one culture is necessarily superior to another one, but the results often speak for themselves. Also, keep in mind, there is nothing wrong with changing one's culture.

Did you know that after World War 2, Japan went on a mission to change the culture of its people. People in Japan starting copying cultural practices here in the USA. They started to adopt free-market principles and ideas of individualism. Japan even once tried to change its official language to English. Yet, japan still managed to retain their culture heritage. Also, japan went on to have great success. There are numerous examples of other examples of people adopting other's people's culture traits and having great success. Likewise, there aren't a lot of examples of success stories who never changed their culture..

What makes multiculturalism bad is that it doesn't encourage people to change their cultural traits. Its tries to argue that all cultures are equally valid. Which is total nonsense. The fact is, not all cultures are equal.

Bland and boring is good compared to the drugs, murders, rapes and robberies that multiculturalism has brought with it.
