Should I choose F.E. Warren or Luke AFB?

I received F.E. Warren AFB as my assignment in Cheyenne, Wyoming...I might be able to trade for Luke AFB in Arizona. Opinions on either or both please!

    Depends upon your interests and your preferences.

    FE Warren - cold weather, old west, lots of out door activities, small town, close to several national parks. (20th AF, which reports to GSC and US Strat Com)

    Luke - hot, city, higher crime rate due to proximity to Phoenix, major center of retirees. (AETC)

    You also want to look at the mission of both bases, the commands, their ops tempo for your career field.

    each base has a web page... look at the web page... check out the local area and see which one would be a better choice for you.

    What would be a good fit for me may not be a good fit for you.

    I would choose Luke because it is warm.
