Why does spongebob have little continuation? in one episode squidward actually gets a girl yet after that we never see her again. there are so many scenes that are some reason never mentioned again!like when spongebob gets naked infront of girls nobody ever mentions it again! he also gets fired in that episode but just returns again! so little continuation i just dont get it

Believe it or not but each spongebob episode takes place in the same universe maybe a few days or weeks after one another maybe the episodes dont go in order at all. But the point is that the show is meant for younger audiences to enjoy and not get confuse. So plotholes are just plotholes.

It's meant for a young audience who may have trouble remembering what happened in past episodes, also most parents who stick a Spongebob on for their kids don't want to have to think about putting each episode on in order so as the story makes sense. Each episode can be watched and enjoyed individually.
