It's a myth that a black belt in karate has to register their hands with the FBI. It's a myth that karate is not effective on the street. It's a myth that karate originated in Japan. It originated in Okinawa. It's a myth that the black belt is the highest belt in karate. Red belt is. Tae kwon do is different. They made red belt below black belt to insult the Japanese as they have some bad blood between them. It is a myth that karate always had belt ranks. Belts orginiated in 1882 with Jigaro Kano when he invented Judo. Karate adopted it. Before that there were basically 3 ranks of expertise but they wore no special clothing to denote them.

    Bruce Lee

    Black belt is master.

    Striking only style

    Karate is somehow sportsman like

    Karate doesn't grapple

Karate doesn't work anymore, it needs to be "modernized"

Yiou need 17 styles to be effective.

I could go on, but you asked for five, I'm over already.

    But it was fun.
