Why is everyone on Facebook talking about tampons?

Facebook users are weirdos.

A girl called Giavanna plowman posted up a video on her fb page of herself basically taking the tampon out of her and eating and sucking the blood out of it. It's gross, I have not really watched it though.

I believe it's to do with this girl who has a facebook account and also posted a video of herself on youtube sucking her own tampon.

i think there was a video where somebody ate one (gross) and now everyone else is taking the piss and making their own videos about it, nit positive, i'm a little confused too, thats as much as i know
