As in E85 or what exactly? Some of the ethanol fuels, or at least E85, are mixed with some gasoline to prevent consumption. Whatever else they may denature ethanol with, you might not want in your soap, either.

Why do you need ethanol to make soap?

If you really do, use some from a hardware store that is denatured with methanol. This would be the safest form of denatured ethanol to use. Non denatured ethanol would be safer, but much more expensive.
