Are these Republicans sour grapes and behaving badly along partisan lines? Are they just a bunch of petty bad losers ?

I think Mr. Romney had other, more important things to do than spend his day out in the cold, waiting to pay homage to a fool like Obama. I know I wouldn't have gone to the inauguration today for any amount of money. I don't like Obama, I've never liked him, and I never will. And I've never voted for him. This dislike has nothing to do with him being Black or being a Democrat. It has to do with him being stupid. His policies are forcing our nation into bankruptcy. And while he's busy destroying this country financially, he's also side-stepping the Constitution and enacting laws of his own choosing by using his Executive Orders. He can't do that! It's illegal and unconstitutional! He's the President, not a king or emperor. He governs with the advice of Congress, and the consent of the governed (that's us). He needs to grow up and get his act together, fast!

Mitt is in California at one of his homes, Bush senior is recovering from a hospital stay, and George W hasn't been invited anywhere by either party.

They weren't invited and are hated by Obama and the Democrats.
They would be derided and mocked with invective.

It's also a federal holiday. Maybe they had better things to do on their day off.
