If someone wanted to remove all these things from society, then they are a very ignorant person. Let's start off with number one
1. Unfortunately, lonely people need porn. They need an outlet for their sexual desires. Imagine if there was no porn. There'd be a lot more rape and murder. That would be a sad world indeed. I happen to like the sex shop. I enjoy different sex toys. Keeps a relationship healthy to "play" with different things.
2. Couldn't really live without my alcohol. lol just kidding, I could live without it but life would be a lot less fun! It's supposed to be used in moderation. But people have no self control and have to kill themselves with alcohol. It's sad. But it doesn't mean it should ruin it for the rest of us who like to have fun.
3. Same goes for drugs! Do away with the bad ones but let's keep all the stuff that mother nature put here for us, which really aren't drugs anyway.
4. Satanism? Ok so if you want to do away with that religion, then you should do away with ALL religions. I kind of agree with that. Religion is a very stupid man-made thing to control the masses. It's awful.
5. Lies and deception? Well that ties into religion, doesn't it? Would be a good thing. Would be like the movie The Invention of Lying. Good movie.
6. Spam and Junk mail? Okay so I must agree, e-mail spam is irritating sometimes. But all I have to do is click my mouse and poof it's gone, so it's really not such a nuisance as everyone thinks. Junk mail? Well think about it this way. These "horrible" companies that send out this junk mail are the ones who make our jobs. Believe it or not small business use direct mail as a way of advertising too. And believe it or not it's VERY effective. For every person that throws a piece of mail away, there's probably two more calling the number because the product caught their eye. So if you work for one of these businesses or companies be glad they're making business so you can keep your job. Don't want the mail? Just throw it away or recycle or even reuse it for paper crafts :)
7. Wars and violence? Well yeah sounds nice to want to be rid of that doesn't it? Unfortunately it's human nature to fight.
8. Cigarettes? Nope, can't get rid of those. I like those lol The way I see it, it's a person's choice. The idea of cigarettes is to use them in moderation. Just like with alcohol. But people have no self control. If they want to kill their lungs, I say let them. But don't ruin it for the rest of us who enjoy a smoke now and then.
9.Atheism? Atheists are some of the best geniuses out there. If you want to keep your religion, then you let atheists keep their views.
10.Crime? Well that ties in with violence, lack of self control, and many other factors. A lot of it is human nature while a lot of it is the society we live in. To bring down crime rates, society as a whole needs to change its whole outlook. I don't see that happening any time soon.
11. Inappropriate content? But then what fun would TV be without Family Guy and South Park? lol If you don't like it, DON'T WATCH IT.
12. Abuse is never a good thing. Unfortunately, it's one of those human nature things that just sicken me. But there's no way to get rid of it altogether, sadly.
13. Hatred, well that's just an emotion we feel towards someone. Most of the time it's someone we are obsessing over. Hate is NOT the opposite of love. the opposite of love is indifference. To feel hate towards someone is putting just as much emotion towards them as love is. To say we hate someone and never even think about that person is not true. To feel indifferent would be we don't feel one way or another about them.
14. The rich? Okay, so let's say we do Obama's idea and "level the playing field" and do away with rich people and take all the wealth and spread it around where everyone ends up with the same amount of money. What do you think that would do to society, honestly? And if you say it's a good thing, then you are ignorant and need to rethink it. Businesses would fail. Jobs would be even more impossible to find than they are now. Society would crumble. Just look in your history books and look at how other civilizations have crumbled in the past. the US is headed that way. All we are doing is repeating history instead of learning from it.
15. Pollution. I would love to do away with pollution. I would love for lots of things to happen that probably aren't going to happen. That's our problem. We want things to happen but we don't do anything about them. We just sit and complain about them. I'm guilty of it too.

Such a perfect world would be boring. I'm all up for world peace, no junk mail, a pollution free atmosphere and for crime rates to go WAY down... but whats wrong with atheism and satanism (as long as there are no sacrifices)? Everyone's entitled to their own beliefs. Also people who have worked hared all their lives and as a result got rich shouldn't be hated! As for the rest everything in moderation...

Ha! But those are all synonyms!
...but seriously, I guess I wouldn't be missing out on much. I don't really do any of those things, even the ones that I don't think are wrong. I do lie, and it would be nice to not have to do that to get ahead. I try to keep my lies as un-lying as possible, but it's still lying. I don't think having rich people is so terrible either - my instinct is that a "perfect" economy fits some form of augmented bell curve in terms of how many people have what level of income. I do not see much wrong with pornography either. I do not know what inappropriate content in the media is. Atheism I also do not hate on. Getting rid of hatred would be really nice.

I see problems in that list.
1) Atheism shouldn't me removed
2) Satanism is "real"
3) Lieing is part of our biological code, a survival instinct of sorts, to remove that will ne very hard.
4)Hatred leads to abuse
5) Cigaretted are drugs
4) Without the rich who will own the stored and work areas?
Everything else I agree with, ESPECIALLY junk mail.

I would sob. Alcohol and Satan are sort of things I love. I gnaw on atheism and porn when I'm lonely. I am drugs. I lie to the wars via spam and junk mail. I control the media via a convoluted web of lies and deception, of hatred. We control the rich. We pollute the airways with atheist porn, and just sit back and smoke our cigarettes and laugh when Satan cries to us about how we closed his favorite strip club.
Atheist porn script excerpt:
Male: OH GOD YES
Other Male: GOD DOESN'T EXIST
Male: OH RIGHT. BUT STILL THIS SEX FEELS NICE.
Other Male: OOOOOO

I believe in freedom of choice. So, for example, if someone wants to visit a dirty jokes website or have a couple glasses of wine with their pasta after work, they should be allowed to.
I agree that it would be wonderful if things like wars, abuse, hatred, extreme wealth gaps, lies, and pollution could disappear. Unfortunately, this would first require human nature to change so that we are not incredibly selfish any more.

I like my sex shops and porno, so I'd like those to stick around. Definitely would like to say good bye to pollution, hatred, abuse, wars and violence, spam and junk mail, and crime though.

Jesus turned water into wine, and many drugs helps, so you need to get out of the Religious section and post this where it belongs. In the trash. Freedom of speech also leaves you free to not go to those places, not to read all that. The RICH? You seem to think that they made the poor, but the poor are those who want handouts, not hand ups such as learning to fend for themselves. Many of the rich earned that money and still are. To get rid of the rest would mean making everyone think and act alike. Can we say uninteresting robots? Sure there are things like this, but you don't have to do them, nor do you have to listen to those who do them. It is called having a choice. I delete spam and junk mail. easily.
