What will it take for Kenny Holland to get rid of Kyle Quincey?

In 3 games, Quincey has 0 goals, 0 assists, He's a -4, 6 PIM's, and just plain sucks! I thought Hudler was bad last year......but Quincey is a Defenseman and in a crucial year for the Red Wings like this, we need GOOD Defenseman. I'm to the point where I'm missing Brett Lebda....I'd take him over Quincey anyday! So what will it take to get him OFF of our team? Wake up Kenny!

A more thorough look at his stats the past 3 games:

BQ* Ian White is now hurt. Out 2-3 weeks.....Is it just me or do the Wings for some reason always seem to get the most Injuries ALL at the same time? Here comes the Detroit Griffins! (Why couldn't Quincey have gotten hurt?)

Update:

@Dann Obviously you have no watched the Red Wings games and seen him in action. He just stand there and looks lost and when he does touch the puck, he screws up. Example:

Yesterday a delayed penalty was called on the Stars, so Howard was skating off so we could get a 6 on 5 going. What happened next? Quincey gets the puck and DUMPS it into the offensive zone. We needed to keep possession of the puck that was the point of Howard skating off! He is just plain horrible.

I'm just glad hes not on the Avs anymore. I was really surprised to see Detroit trade a 1st round pick for him last year, I thought maybe Hollad and co were smoking the good stuff from BC.

Seeing as he used a 4th round pick to draft him in 2003 and then traded a first rounder to get him back last year (he was lost to waivers) he has quite a bit invested in Kyle.

The Wings have lost a lot on D and it will take time for the kids to develop, in the meantime it will be stopgaps like Quincy and Huskins who just signed (he went to school with my wife)

The problem with losing a no 1 d man like Lidstrom is everyone else has to move up a notch. Your no 2 guy is no a now 1, your no 5 guy who was getting sheltered minutes in the 3rd pairing no has to player tougher opposition as a second pairing guy. The loss of Stuart and Rafalski only makes that worse.

I think Det moves from a lock for the playoffs to a bubble team fighting for 6-7-8-9-10-11-12 spots. A few key injuries and they could be on the outside looking in come playoff time.

"Missing" Lebda? Wow, I've only seen the game against DAL but something obviously ain't right in Detroit. Honestly, I never thought Quincey was a good acquisition for DET.

You're flaming because its been 3 games into the season and a defender who is a 3rd pairing on any team in the league btw hasn't produced any points? The Red Wings are in for some lean seasons.

You already know my thoughts but here goes anyways.. its hard to dump a non proforming player because no one want them and if you put them in the minors and they are on a one way contract and they dont clear waivers you have to just end up paying their contract out.. though with all that pizza money i spose that wouldnt hurn them much

BQ* I think thats a trend through out hockey.. a few keys guys go down and everyone has to strain and step up their game and end up injured.. the domino effect
