Custodian at school site offered and idk anything about cleaning. Help!?

They may want to know if you know how to put out a small chemical fire: do you know the safety concerns regarding hazardous cleaning materials; do you know first-aid? Do you know what the job entails? Sweeping the halls, emptying wastebaskets, washing blackboards, doing minor repairs, painting.... and likely some grounds work. They may want to know if you know anything about heating plants. Know what? Be honest, and assure them that you are a fast learner and you are not afraid to learn anything! They may just ask you questions about your previous experience and how it could relate to the job for which you have applied. They may ask if you like kids; do they annoy you? How you would react in the noisy hallway of a typical school day..... I don't think you have to worry they need you as much as you need them, they just don't know that yet. Go in dressed neatly; clean and well groomed. Don't use slangy or gangsta language in your answers to their questions. And don't hesitate to answer the questions so they know you have nothing to hide. I want you to get this job! You go there, and get it! They will love you! God bless you!
