What MFA programs in studio art do not require a BFA or previous undergraduate coursework?
I suppose I am the non-traditional art student. I did not go through an art program for my undergraduate degree, but I did take a few courses here and there. I am mostly self taught and my skills are quite decent. My medium is painting and drawing. I am looking to get an MFA and have been unlucky in my search for programs. Lots of the programs require 30-60 hours in studio art classes. Of which I do not have, nor do I really want to get a second bachelors degree.
So what programs out there are open to art students such as myself? I wouldn't mind taking several classes at the community college level because they are cheap, but I am not sure if these courses would qualify for the level of art courses required.

Look at private schools, they are usually more lenient in prerequisites. Think about why you want this degree as a masters in studio art is generally for people who want to become art teachers. With the cost of college today, you could take private lessons if you just want to improve your work. If you are looking for a creative job, consider a masters in graphic design, advertising, commercial illustration.
