Where would you stay? Disney Animal Kingdom (Savannah View) or Beach Club?
My friends and I are trying to decide where to stay for a couple days. I have it narrowed to two choices. Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge with a view of the Savannah or Disney Beach Club Resort. I am very familiar with the pros and cons on paper but I am curious about personal experience. I love the idea of the animals outside my room but I always felt this resort was so isolated. The Beach club has a great pool and is close to Epcot. Is the resort a little too ordinary? If cost is not an issue which of the two would you do? Just between the two, please do not suggest a different resort. Its only between these two.

We LOVED the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We had the Savannah view. I had my adult kids with me. My son would stay up late and sit on the balcony and I would have my morning cup of coffee out there.
It was so peaceful after a day at the noisy parks. No the AKL is not isolated at all.

Animal Kingdom lodge is very fun, but other than Animal Kingdom it is pretty far away from the other parks. This shouldn't however be the deciding factor. Beach Club is great fun too, the sand bottom pool / lazy river and walking distance to Epcot or Hollywood Studios is all great, but as a hotel it's nice, but doesn't have the Disney magic. This is, of course, just my opinion. It also depends on how much time you'll spend in the park or at the hotel. How much time you'll spend in the pool, how much time you'll be inside or walking around. I will say, Beach Club you can walk to Board Walk, Swan, Dolphin, or Yacht Club. So you could also do things there, like swim and look at decor.

Beach Club is one of my favorites. I think it's a great resort, and I love the convenience of its location.
