I can't shoot a soccer ball high and powerful enough. Help Me!!!?

I am 14 and I cant shoot a soccer ball properly enough. When I shoot, it just ends up going powerless and too easy. I can't even reach the goal. I tried almost all the videos of youtube, but it doesnt happen. I kick with my sweet spot. And I will buy Blast the ball? Will it help?

Update:

Is there anyway I can get Blast the ball free. I mean torrents or something? Its priced at 40 euros here!!!

You don't need a tutorial to learn how to kick the ball. Practice more. Use the side of your foot to shoot, the 'sweet spot' is right. Try to scoop the ball up when you shoot and put all your power in it. Practice more and it will come to you. Try crossing first, requires less power and more lift.

I think the best way for you to learn to kick the soccer ball with more power is through good old practice. Try not to worry about it too much, this sort of skill develops over time when playing soccer, just concentrate on connecting well with the ball. Whether this be mid-range passing or shooting, become comfortable with trying to meet a target and just practice over and over again.

Speed is the key, when it comes to power, your legs don't have to be the strongest. Make sure you pull your leg back when approaching the ball and whilst keeping your eyes firmly on the ball, connect with it at speed and follow through. You'll sometimes see soccer players hit the ball at such speed that the momentum from the action leads them to come off the ground with the other foot. Do what comes natural to you, but remember speed and practice.

A common error made by youth players is poor placement of the balance foot. If the actions of your kicking leg/foot are correct, this might be the cause of your problem.

If your balance foot is too far back, your kicking foot will tend to strike the ball too high. This will fail to impart all the power to the ball, and it will tend to roll.

If your balance foot is too far forward, your kicking foot will strike the ball on the downswing. This will first drive the ball down, where the ground will absorb much of the energy of your kick. The ball will still rise, but it will be lower and slower.

make sure you bring your shooting leg back far enough and you follow through the ball with the laces and get UNDER the ball and it should get air and also your run up should be about 6-8 steps and 2-3 to the left or right depending on which foot you shoot with, almost jog up to the ball and take the shot how i said before ^ keep practising until you get it

In england, at the lowest levels they teach you to shoot with your laces and lean over the ball. Shooting is pretty inconsistant in general. I play at a decent level of football, and i personally strike it half way along the bone/line from the big toe to the middle of the ankle (looking down on your foot). But i suppose everyone has their own technique
