I just wrote a letter to my bank that issues my Visa Card, telling them I'm raising my credit limit?

So that I can draw a cash advance to make the minimum payment.

How do you think that will go?

I doubt they would let you unless they were sure you could pay it back. Then again, it's an opportunity for them to hit you with interest payments out the wazoo, where they would make a lot of money.

I don't trust credit personally. Only thing I have ever bought on credit is a home and I made a 20% down payment on it.

How do you feel about big business getting 0% interest loans from the fed? They have and do. Is it govt? Is it big business? Is it oh I don't know both? Perhaps the amount of wealth that affords the luxury of making connections with people in very high places assures that the 1% both in and out of govt maintain control? Nah. Commie Kenya marxism war on success!!

I think you should address your spending problems when you spend, not when it is time to pay the credit bill. Alternatively, you could take on a second job or take some other measure to increase your income. Don't be like the Republicans and just refuse to pay the bills because you spent too much!

That should work pretty well, provided you're legally allowed to print money and control the banking system.

Tell them you inherited the debt from your previous credit card and so are not responsible for it.

I think your question is a waste of time. Why do people think these obviously fake scenarios are illustrative or useful in some way?

If they get mad tell them you're spending your way out of your jam.
