The scroll on my laptop mouse pad isn't working anymore?
I have an emachines laptop and the scroll bar on the mouse pad has stopped working. It was fine last night but when I cam on this morning, it just didn't work anymore.. How can I get it to work again?
It doesn't need cleaning, and the rest of the pad works for moving the mouse around.
Also, when I try to scroll, the icon shows (the pointer cursor changes to the scroll cursor) so surely it wouldn't do that if it was deactivated?

Take a clean material with a mixture of alcohol and smooth water on it. Maintain the desktop the wrong way up and clean the scroll pad and at the same time your at it evenly do the touchpad as well.Rub softly no longer using to so much strain. Make sure whatever hasn't deactivated the scroll bar in "Settings" mouse and different input instruments" make certain you use a gentle scratch free fabric

take a clean cloth with a mixture of alcohol and clean water on it. hold the laptop upside down and clean the scroll pad and while your at it lightly do the touchpad as well.Rub softly not using to much pressure. Make sure something hasn't deactivated the scroll bar in "Settings" mouse and other input devices"
Make sure you use a soft scratch free cloth
